Festool Shop-in-Shop

We opened our Festool shop in shop in the middle of march (2008) after 3 weeks of shop fitting and installing a comprehensive display of most of the Festool range of products.

We were unsure on just how much of a success the shop in shop would prove but having built up a good local client base we thought it would be worth the effort. As far as I know there is not anywhere locally offering such a facility.It has proved in the first 3 months very popular with a lot of local Festool users. they know that they can come in and try a product out before they buy, Festool is at the high end of the building trade tools and some people are apprehensive about spending so much of their hard earnt money on power tools.

When we first started selling Festool the rep told us that selling your first tool was the hardest sale after that it would almost sell itself and this is proving to be true. I think that once you explain the pros and cons of the Festool brand and the fact it has a 3 year warranty it is fastley becoming one of the main power tool manufactures.

We now have a customer base from Newcastle to London and are looking to build on that on a daily basis.
